Must have skin care routine for acne prone + sensitive skin!
Here are my top skincare tips and products that have helped transform my acne prone skin!

I had always struggled with acne. It never changed drastically if I ate differently or tried new products. While I was working in salons, I would try the newest skin treatments or masks that were supposed to help and they almost always left my skin more irritated, painful and red. The before picture (above) was after I chose to get off BC. I felt like my hormones were so screwed up and my skin become the worse it had been it years! I began to get cystic acne which can be extremely painful. For multiple reasons, I decided to start to switch to more natural products. I was really hesitant at first but figured there was nothing to lose!
I first heard about double cleansing and all the benefits of it especially for those that have oily + acne prone skin! It sounded conflicting at first to try this but within a few days of using this jojoba oil to do the first round of cleansing I was so impressed with how soothing it was on my skin. I continued to use it and slowly started to see the redness reduce!
This convinced me that maybe natural products weren't so bad after all. I started to look for a skincare line that was made with clean ingredients and I found DIME! I had seen several people share about them before on social media and saw lots of people having great results from using their products. I didn't expect much because I had tried so many brands and products before but decided to try and I'm so glad I did!
After using their products for 3 years I can't believe how much my skin has improved. It took a few months for my acne to clear and then I had lots of scarring (don't pick at your skin!!) but now my skin is almost always acne free!
Cleansers: Gentle Jelly Cleanser + Cleansing Balm
- The gentle jelly cleanser is perfect for morning + night. It is amazing at deeply cleansing your skin + removing makeup! I LOVE that it is super soothing at the same time. Most face washes have left my skin feeling super dry and tight but this one doesn't!
- The cleansing balm is perfect if you wear heavier makeup. It's great at melting it all away while leaving your skin super hydrated! (Most days I use this to double cleanse instead of jojoba oil but either is great!) If my skin is ever feeling really dry I will also apply some of this balm as a hydrating mask at night.
Serums: Hyaluronic Acid Serum + Hyper Glow
- I'm obsessed with hyaluronic acid! I use it every morning + night. It's perfect for extra hydration + plump looking skin.
- Hyper glow has made the biggest difference in my acne scarring. It's amazing if you want dewy, glowing, brighter skin!
- (Bonus): Super firm serum - I have been using this for a few months on the fine lines on my forehead and around my eyes and I love it! It helps to tighten + firm wrinkles over time.
Oil: Blue Facial Oil
- This was one of the products that made the biggest difference in my skin! It has blue tansy that is amazing for soothing acne. It is also anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory! You can apply it all over or use it as a spot treatment on breakouts.
Moisturizers: Dewy Day Cream + Restorative Night Cream
- If you are looking for a super hydrating but lightweight moisturizer the dewy day cream is perfect. I love makeup applies amazing after applying it!
- In the evening it's the perfect time to apply a thicker moisturizer to deeply repair + hydrate your skin. I love using this one every night and even in the morning during the dryer winter months!
